St Ffrwst, Llanfoist
St. Faith's Church in Llanfoist makes a major contribution to the life of the village by holding coffee mornings once a fortnight.
These events are so popular amongst those in the know that it is difficult sometimes to get in as the hall is full to capacity.
It must be the cakes !!
A small bric-a-brac stall also runs at coffee mornings as does a book stall.
All designed to keep village life alive.
Llanfoist also has a 100 club.
Bible study is held on a Friday afternoon in the hall which is also a heritage interpretation centre with a large wall mural of the industrial history of Llanfoist designed and painted by the late Michael Blackmore, a very gifted local artist who was also responsible for the illustrations of Chris Barber's many books about walks in the Industrial Heartland of Llanfoist and district.
